How to play this game

Word Trivia turns spelling into a quiz-show challenge. Pick a word length above, and SpellingKids pulls 30 random words of that length from our word bank. For each round you'll see a clue — the word's meaning — and hear it pronounced aloud, just like a real spelling bee pronouncer.

Below the clue are four possible spellings, labeled A through D. Only one is correct — the other three are decoys built to sound just like the real word when read aloud. Tap the spelling you believe is correct. Get it right and you'll see an instant confirmation; get it wrong and we'll highlight the correct answer so you can learn from it before moving on to the next word.

Unlike Word Jumble, which asks you to reconstruct a word letter by letter, Word Trivia tests spelling recognition — the skill of spotting the one correct spelling among several near-misses. That's exactly the judgment call needed on a real spelling bee stage and while proofreading your own writing, so a few rounds a day builds a sharp eye for the small differences that separate a correct spelling from a plausible-looking mistake.
