This Disclaimer governs your use of the SpellingKids Android application (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms described below. If you do not agree with any part of this Disclaimer, please discontinue use of the App immediately.
The App is provided to you on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any representation or warranty of any kind — whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SpellingKids expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Specifically, we make no guarantees that: the App will meet your individual requirements or expectations; the App will operate without interruption, error, or security breach; any defects, bugs, or errors in the App will be identified or corrected; or the App will be compatible with every device, operating system version, software, or network configuration.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SpellingKids and its affiliates, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, any loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, computer damage, system failure, or any other commercial or non-commercial loss arising out of, or in connection with, your use of or inability to use the App.
Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the App, its content, or any aspect of these terms is to discontinue use of the App. By continuing to use the App, you accept the liability limitations described in this section.
All content within the SpellingKids App — including flashcard words, definitions, IPA pronunciations, etymologies, and study schedules — is provided exclusively for educational and informational purposes. The App is designed to support spelling bee preparation and vocabulary development for students in Grades 3 through 9.
The App should not be treated as a substitute for formal classroom instruction, certified educational programs, professional tutoring, or comprehensive study curricula. It is intended to complement — not replace — a student's broader educational journey.
SpellingKids makes every reasonable effort to ensure that the word lists, definitions, pronunciation guides, and related information within the App are accurate, complete, and current at the time of publication. Our editorial team reviews content regularly and updates the App as competition word banks and linguistic references evolve.
However, no guarantee is made as to the absolute accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content within the App. Language evolves, competition standards change, and occasional errors or omissions may occur despite our best efforts. We encourage users to cross-reference critical vocabulary with authoritative sources, particularly for high-stakes competitions.
Your access to and use of the App — and any reliance on its content — are entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for evaluating the appropriateness of the App's content for your needs, your child's grade level, and any specific competition requirements.
SpellingKids is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages, learning outcomes, competitive results, or negative consequences of any kind arising from your use of — or inability to use — the App, even if SpellingKids has been advised of the possibility of such outcomes.
The App may display third-party advertisements served by advertising partners, which help us keep the App free for all users. These ads are managed by third-party ad networks and are subject to their own privacy policies and terms of service. SpellingKids does not control the content of advertisements shown within the App.
If the App includes links to external websites or third-party resources, SpellingKids does not endorse and assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, content, privacy practices, or any other aspect of such third-party platforms. Your interactions with external sites are governed solely by those sites' own terms.
SpellingKids reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or permanently discontinue the App or any portion of its content at any time, with or without prior notice. This may include changes to word lists, study algorithms, user interface features, or any other aspect of the App's functionality.
We recommend keeping the App updated to the latest version via the Google Play Store to ensure access to the most current content, bug fixes, and feature improvements. Updates may also include revised terms and disclaimer language.
